Little Arabia
through its food.

Explore Anaheim’s Middle Eastern food corridor through Lebanese bakeries, Palestinian falafel, Egyptian comfort food, Yemeni shared plates, Syrian sweets, and the markets that helped a community grow.

Start exploring
More than one cuisine

Let each restaurant tell you where it comes from.

“Middle Eastern” is useful for finding the guide, but it covers many cultures and cooking traditions. Each card identifies the restaurant’s focus so Egyptian koshari, Yemeni mandi, Palestinian knafeh, and Lebanese manakeesh don’t get treated as the same meal.

This guide stays focused on Anaheim’s Little Arabia, including the official Brookhurst Street district and the closely connected food corridor around it. Only Forn Al Hara and House of Mandi repeat across sections, while every other business appears once.

A first Little Arabia visit

Anaheim’s officially recognized district

A food corridor decades in the making.

Anaheim formally recognized Little Arabia in 2022 after years of community advocacy. The official district follows Brookhurst Street from Broadway to Ball Road, while the broader cultural and dining corridor extends beyond those boundaries.

Altayebat Market traces its roots to a neighborhood produce market opened in 1983. Restaurants, bakeries, markets, cafes, and other businesses followed as Arab American families built a community around Brookhurst.

Breakfast, bakeries, and markets

Start with bread from the oven.

Manakeesh topped with za’atar, cheese, labneh, spinach, or meat makes this one of the easiest sections to explore in the morning.
